It's a Bitter-Sweet Wrap

We have finally wrapped up our filming last Wednesday, after 4 months of happy hard work. But it's been one of the sweetest and most blissful moments for all of us.

I don't ever remember a single bad situation. It was a production filled with immense joy and laughter. We travelled together to locations, ate lunch at the round table like a family, joked and teased one another endlessly, experimented the DIY cooking with laughable clumsiness because many of us are not the "domestic" type, and made hillarious behind-the-scenes videos uncovering Pei Fen's hidden comic talent and Hui Fen's(our executive producer) wittiness. Mark's "Mandarin department" also expanded because of our constant teasing. Even talents who joined us occasionally on the set were often infected by our jovial vibe.

The So Simple Production felt like a nice and warm big family. I guess it's because of the wonderful relationship we have shared in the four months we were working together and there were a lot of passion, respect and commitment.

Hi Mian,

Kinda sad to hear the words "wrapped up" which reminds us that the show will be coming to an end soon. Well, I do believe that all good things must come to an end. May I suggest a So Simple Two? We can chip in with a DIY tip or two to keep it going..Haha.

Anyway the whole team sounds really fun and this makes work so much more enjoyable. Doesn't even feel like you are working at all! What about posting some of those "behind the scenes" clips as an encore after the end of the show? It will bring back some memories to us!

Hi,

I'm so sad that 'So Simple' is ending. Support for series 2!!!

By the way, just to ask a question. There was a scene of Pei Fen in a library or book store. May I know where is it? Woah~ There is so much book on DIY stuff.

Hi Mian,

Oh gosh, the show has officially ended last night and I'm already suffering from withdrawal symptoms! No more rushing back for my Tuesday fix of DIY!

BTW, can the soap recipe be shared on the website...didnt manage to get everything down on paper. Also for oily skin, we can use sea salt and something else which is black in colour. What is that?

Hey Joyz, the black thingee is charcoal, which you can get from organic stores.

And yes, like you, the team behind So Simple is also having withdrawal... which is why we had a party last wednesday and drank and danced our hearts out...yet, the withdrawl still wouldn't go away... ha ha.
