Accidentally Erased...
My apologies to some of you who wrote us very nice comments about our show in the earlier post "We Have A Great Audience". What happened was, I was sorting and organising the blog, clearing up some older posts and accidentally erased that one as well... sigh. Aniwaes, I still remember the nice things you all said there, but if you want to write them again, that would be really really nice.

昨晚看了第一集的《简单就是美2》，很感动，有种久别重逢的感觉。一直都认为《简单就是美》是一个与众不同的节目。很有深度，很有质感，很认真的探讨人生。对于节目中想传达的环保讯息也很感动，感动于节目团队并不一味的迎合市场，而是真心的想传达一种大爱的精神，也就是爱人生，爱地球。这是我个人从节目中所得到的启发，相信大家看了之后也会又自己的感受。至于佩芬，我必须说这个节目除了她之外，我实在想不到更适合的人选了。而她自然清新的主持方式和整个节目的风格也十分贴切。谢谢《简单就是美2》台前幕后的用心。虽然还有7集，但我已经好期待《简单就是美3》了！

A friend of me has been telling me to look out for this tv show. I usually don't watch ch 8 or ch U because they are not my cup of tea. The reason I bothered to tune in last tues is becos I find it unbelievable that my friend, who is not a fan of ch8 & U like me, actually raved about the show. So, our of curiosity, I had to watch. Okay, she is right, it is not bad. It is very unusual for mediacorp to have such a show. Very different. It has managed to hit the niche audience like us. Even though I don't fully understand Mandarin, I still managed to grasp the theme. It was very clear. It's very encouraging that there is such a kind of quality show on tv. I heard there was a season 1...too bad I wasn't converted then. Now, whenever my friend and I meet up, we will have an interesting tv show to discuss. Maybe the show will inspire us to travel together, which is something my friend and I have never done before.
oh, btw, in case you are wondering how i found this blog, i must tell you it's that crazy friend of mine again. she's been going around asking people about the show and eventually met another friend who happened to know about the host Lin Pei Fen's blog and got her link. Now both us come here often to update. Nice photos. Lin Pei Fen looks very cool here, and in the show too. Great job styling. So effortless, yet so stylish. That's our kind of girl! Can't stand the way the mediacorp artistes usually look. So over the top. (sorry i'm getting bitchy)...
hi So Simple Production people, I really really like the show. So refreshing. I watched every episode of Season one too. I noticed season 2 quite different. I look forward to see what people in other countries are doing with DIY ideas. The concept of LOHAS is new to us so it's good to see how other people do it. I heard Taiwan, Japan and Australia the few countries who are big on LOHAS. You guys picked the right places to introduce the topic.

mei i agree wid u. i agree wid everyone. So simple is very different. Me and a few good frens seldom watch ch 8 or chU unless the show is worth spending half hour of our precious time. we like So simple becos it is simply worth it. season 2 is different becos it shows other countries. good. cos we constantly need inspirations to make our lives more interesting.
Thumbs up for So Simple 2. Ever so refreshing. Really really hope that So simple production team could publish it into book. Cant wait to see what's install for us viewer in So Simple 3. Love So Simple, where evrything looks so simple yet amazing. Great job!

Hello! I recently caught an episode of So Simple 2 and I fell in love with the style and narration of this show! I love everything you've introduced in the show, especially all things DIY, zakka, the country lifestyle, associations with nature, etc.
I've been looking for great places like these to visit for my solo backpacking trip upon graduation. If you've more recommendations, other than Taiwan (which I've already been to twice), please do give me some suggestions! :)
Also, I'd love to see more feature on alternative accommodations, such as hostels, housing provided by the locals, at the countryside or by the beach. Because coming from personal experience, staying in those places was by far, the most enriching experience I've had while travelling. :D
Anyhow, keep up the good work. Keep it Simple; Keep it Beautiful. :)
